Parental Support

Food Bank

We understand how tricky times are at the moment and many of our families are affected by the rise in the cost of living. If you are in need of extra help during this difficult time, we are able to issue a food back voucher to families that attend our school.

To request a food bank voucher, you can speak to any member of staff who will pass on the request. However, we recognise that some parents may find a face to face conversation difficult and therefore we have set up an email address that can be used specifically to request a food bank voucher: voucher@priory.dudley.sch.uk

We will need some brief details from you in the email:

  • Your full name and address and your child’s name
  • How many people live in your household and the ages of these people
  • Brief reason as to why you require vouchers
  • The date that you will be using the voucher at the Food Bank
  • Any special requirements: dietary needs, dog food, nappies, cooking facilities etc e.g. microwave/kettle only

We will do this without judgement, and confidentiality will always be maintained.

Vouchers can be presented to any Black County Foodbank https://www.blackcountryfoodbank.org.uk and is valid for 3 working days from the date of issue.

The Early Help Assessment

The Early Help Assessment forms a key part of the Early Help Strategy and is a simple way to help identify the needs of children, young people and their families and make a plan to meet those needs. It is designed to be a shared tool which can be used by all agencies in Dudley who are delivering Early Help. It is a standardised approach so that all children and families  Dudley  have the same experience of identifying their needs, strengths and challenges. It also means that all agencies and partners are operating the same system which ensures greater consistency
